AI quote automation – from RFQ to reviewed quote
A request for quotation (RFQ) rarely arrives in a format you can use directly. In Reqventa, AI helps interpret the request: product lines are extracted from email text, PDFs or spreadsheets, matched against your catalogue and priced with the customer's terms. The result is a prepared quote that the salesperson reviews and approves. If the email is a direct purchase order instead, an order is prepared the same way. This way of working is built for industrial distribution and technical trade.
- Unstructured text, PDF and Excel become structured product lines
- Customer and products are suggested with a confidence level
- Customer-specific net prices, discounts and price lists are used
- Gross margin is calculated per line
Why AI alone isn't enough
In technical trade the item number, dimensions and agreed prices decide whether the quote is right. That's why customer matching in Reqventa is primarily deterministic – sender address, customer number, organisation number and registered domains – and AI is used to interpret content and signature. Every suggestion is shown with a confidence level.
Always human review
No quote and no order leaves the system without a salesperson reviewing it. Low confidence is clearly marked, alternative products are shown and corrections are saved so matching improves for the same customer next time.
